If you have trouble putting your extensions updated with WordPress, a message that is similar to:
You may have a problem on Ownership of your files.
The upload files can’t not be move to the files wp-content/

• Downloading update from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/stats.1.3.8.zip
• Unpacking the update
• Deactivating the plugin
• Removing the old version of the plugin
• Could not remove the old plugin
• Plugin upgrade Failed

This is probably a permission problem.
